'Aashiqui' star Rahul Roy is making a comeback to the big screen after a gap of six years with psychological thriller 'To Be Or Not To Be', where he is playing a negative role.

The film, which will simultaneously be released in English, revolves around a couple whose marriage is on the rocks.

"The script of the film is brilliant and I was really looking for this kind of strong storyline to make my comeback. The story has got everything and when people watch the film they will realise why I am saying so. I am happy with the way it is shaping up," Rahul told in an interview.

Aamir Khan is set to make appearance in film fest at own expense

Bollywood heartthrob Aamir Khan, who is set to attend the opening ceremony of the 11th Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF) Thursday, will bear his own expenses for the trip to the Tamil Nadu capital.

He is following in the footsteps of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who had attended the event last year at his own expense.

The eight-day festival is being organised by the Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation in association with the government of Tamil Nadu.

"Aamir Khan has agreed to grace the opening ceremony of our fest (CIFF). He said he will be there with his assistants on his own and that we only had to tell him when, where and to which hotel he should come," festival organiser, actress Suhasini Mani Ratnam, told IANS.

"I have been chasing Aamir for three years and he has finally given us the time. We are also touched by his gesture not to depend on us for bringing him down. Last year, even Amitji didn't expect our support and even donated Rs.11 lakh towards our fest,"...

Welcome Back was touted to be the comeback film of the evergreen on screen couple Amitabh and Rekha. However, Anees Bazmee recently revealed that both the actors have been replaced by Dimple Kapadia and the thespian Naseeruddin Shah.

Revealing about Dimple's role, the director stated that this will be her first attempt at comedy and she will be playing the role of a rich and glamorous lady where she will be sharing the screen space with Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor in the first half and with Naseer in the second. Naseer has supposedly replaced the late Feroz Khan from the prequel who played the don RDX in the film.

Madhuri's Dedh Ishqiya postponed again?

Would Madhuri Dixit have to wait for some more time before she makes her comeback on the big screen? If some rumour mongers in the world of web have to be believed, this could well be the case. Buzz is that Dedh Ishqiya may be getting pushed by at least a couple of weeks since Madhuri's co-star in the film, Arshad Warsi, has two back to back films arriving in the month of January.

"Mr. Joe B Carvalho, which is produced by his long standing secretary Bhola, is arriving on 3rd January while as per the original plans, Vishal Bhardwaj produced Dedh Ishqiya arrives a week later, i.e. on January 10. Since Arshad can't be expected to promote both films almost simultaneously, more so since he is also expected to kick-start the shooting of The Legend of Michael Mishra soon, possibility of Dedh Ishqiya being moved ahead has been discussed," says an insider.
